Islington LibDems, Dialogue Society & LibDem Friends of Turkey are hosting 'Pitta and Politics' to discuss Britain's Counter-Terrorism Strategy, CONTEST. CONTEST's “4 Ps” bureaucratic codification, “Prevent, Pursue, Protect, Prepare” has been replicated in counter-terrorism strategies around the world. Our panel (Bridget Fox, Meral Ece, Jonathan Fryer, Ozcan Keles) is focusing on the Prevent.

By election in an interesting ward. Fantastic opportunity for rural walks, getting Lib Dem votes and visiting some great pubs. Seriously, as a result of boundary changes, the Alfold area is moving into the Guildford constituency, and a positive impact is vital to the General Election outcome.
