Gareth has been refused accreditation because of a problem with his photo - seems his fringe may be too long. Another reason to turn out en masse at 9 am on Sunday to vote against this illiberal security theatre.

The time is now! Until Palestine gains recognition from the UN, there will be no recognition of its status by Israel. The Israeli government has consistently tried to block any attempt for Palestine to be recognised. The Palestinians were the indigenous people of Palestine until the Naqba in 1948. The UK has much to answer for in the way in which Palestine was carved to create the State of Israel!

At the time of the announcement, the Liberal Democrats are the first and only major political party in the UK - and the first party of Government - to support this policy.

This particular topic - Housing and the building of new housing in the current economic crisis - is important because the housing issue is becoming obscured by the many other issues which are currently in the forefront of the news.
